Leaving on the Streets in Uganda implies many things in the lives of children. It implies that these children lack all the basic needs of life such as Education, Food, Shelter, Medical Care, and clothing.
This makes it hard for them to grow or live longer, most of them die at an early age due to untreated sickness, poor sanitation, and even hunger. And when they grow, they all become drug addicts and robbers in the community.
They will never get good jobs since they lack education, therefore in the end, they all resort to robbery and become murderers of people.
Unfortunately, the government hasn’t come out to address this issue, and the number of street children in Uganda continues to grow every day. The government is neither working towards combating this problem nor helping these street children with their basic needs.
That’s why Non-Profits like the Walk of Hope Foundation have come out to rescue and restore love among these children by providing them with their basic needs such as food, education, clothes, medical care, and clothes.
Our prime purpose is to help as many children as possible, but we need help. We call upon all well-wishers and donors who can help us fulfill our objective of rescuing these children from the streets and exposing them to opportunities that can empower them socially and physically. The Children of Uganda need you!
