Being the last born of 5 siblings with a single mother, didn’t experience a fatherly figure at home because he passed on at an early stage. Growing up in Bulwa zone, a Kampala Surbub in Rubaga division – Kampala district seeing my beloved mum suffering to cater for 5 kids’ school fees, provide basic needs and at the same time act as a father to us was the most tomenting moment
Eating once a day or not, my elder siblings dropping out of school not that they wanted but it was as a result of lack of school fees and also wanting to help out their mama to cater for the young ones unfortunately she also passed on and this really turned out to be the darkest part of our lives.
At the same time growing up seeing people abuse children’s rights, youth dropping out of school due to drug abuse and early pregnancies. homeless orphans and elderly, poor sanitation were at a high rate in my community and no one seemed concerned not even the local leaders.
These issues possed alot of questions to me and one of them was;
"HOW THESE CHALLENGES CAN BE REDUCED OR STOPPED AND WHO HAS TO STOP THEM AND GIVE THE LESS PREVILEGED PEOPLE HOPE "
I told this to my self that after my studies I wont work anywhere, I will startup an organization to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable people.
Before my University education, I used to gather scholastic materials, clothes and food from my fellow students inspired them to assist me move to different suffering communities to distribute the collect things to the less previlleged and carried out sanitary
